10th July, 2013, Cairo: A day after Egypt’s interim president Adly Mansour appointed new Prime Minister and a vice President, an anonymous Muslim Brotherhood spokesperson stated that they would reject any offer if they are offered to be a part of the interim government.
Locl news agency reported that on Tuesday, former finance minister Hazem el-Beblawi was appointed as the new Prime Minister and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Mohamed ElBaradei was appointed as the new vice President.
On Wednesday, newly appointed Prime Minister Hazem el-Beblawi is expected to form a cabinet and some reports suggested that he might offer some posts to Brotherhood.
However, a Brotherhood spokesperson denied any suggestion of joining the military backed interim government. They said that they have nothing to do with this. This is a military coup and they would not negotiate with military leaders.
Military ousted President Mohammed Morsi on 3rd July following a week long protest demanding his resignation and military intervention.
