2nd July, 2013, Kabul: Six people were killed and at least two were injured after Taliban insurgents carried out an attack at a foreign logistics and supply warehouse in Afghanistan capital Kabul. According to reports, a Taliban spokesperson has claimed the responsibility for the attack, the newest in a series of attacks in Kabul.
Authorities stated that two truck drivers as well as 4 Nepalese guards, who were working for that foreign company, were killed in the assault. The Taliban militants came in a explosives-laden truck and detonated the explosive that made a hole that was almost the size of a pool – the hole was fifteen meters wide and six meter deep.
Local authorities also stated that three insurgents were engaged in a gun battle with the security forces for around an hour before they were killed.
